Business Case Development

Investments require a clear business case that justifies to the stakeholders what value they will receive. At OrderWare we work closely with you to quantify the benefits and investments associated with solution development and implementation projects and put these into a realistic schedule.

This work often takes the form of fixed term engagements to interview key parties and build a model of the situation now, the issues to be resolved, and improvement goals to be attained. From this we work with your people to create a vision for what could be achieved and a plan for how to achieve the vision.

This information provides your company with the fact based resources upon which to evaluate the business case.

Business Analysis

Detailed analysis and documentation of requirements is a cornerstone of any change in systems and processes.  Our consultants will review your own documented requirements, or else work with you to conduct the research and write the requirements document.

The analysis will cover models of your processes, roles, business rules, location and ownership of business transactions and information.  Also included will be an analysis of your IT infrastructure.  OrderWare solutions and services are based on a philosophy of maximising existing investments - we work with your IT staff and providers to define allocation of infrastructure resources, licensing and capacity to ensure you get maximum "bang for buck" from the systems, software and hardware, in which you have already invested.

Change Management

Implementation of systems in any business impacts procedures and processes. The breadth and impact of the change needs to be known in advance so that  changes are managed in a proactive and productive manner.

Process Design

Core to all of the OrderWare business solutions are business processes.  The design of these processes is the first step in determining how to configure and deploy these solutions - we avoid the "problem looking for an answer" so common in other systems.  First we work with you to look at the current processes, design the new processes to improve the business to meet your goals, and then work with you to configure and deploy the business solution most appropriate for you.

Project Management

Task level planning and monitoring of each project is critical to achieving deployment success.  We can assist you with, or provide, the project management activities to run a smooth project that meets your budget and schedule goals.

OrderWare operates to a "plan the work and work the plan" approach based around known methodologies for project management and using the PMI body of knowledge as the foundation for all project management actions.
